Confidence Grows Across Merseyside

With summer coming to an end and the nights starting to draw in business prospects are looking very bright throughout Merseyside. With the Liverpool Echo reporting that hundreds of employers across Merseyside are recruiting, all signs point towards growth throughout the region.

In a recent survey 41% of local companies anticipate increased output in the final months of 2013, whilst 40% of companies have increased their headcount in the last three months. This trend is expected to continue right up to the end of the year and beyond into 2014.

SMEs are also playing their part with Tony O’Neill, Liverpool Vision’s head of business growth and enterprise, explains the success of their Business Growth scheme:

“We supported local businesses in creating more than 600 jobs and 135 new businesses, attracting more than £30m of investment into the city. We remain firmly focused on generating jobs and business growth, and attracting investment into Liverpool, 2014 is going to be a fantastic year for Liverpool.”

This growth is demonstrated by Bromborough-based Riverview Law who are looking to double in size in the next year by recruiting up to 100 new posts.

For our part, we’ve directly placed over 50 graduates in the last 3 months in companies across Merseyside and are confident of helping even more in the future.
