Graduate of the Month: Daisy

This month we profile Daisy, a recent University of Liverpool First Class History graduate with three years retail work experience as well as voluntary work is looking to use her various skills in a challenging career within PR / Administration in Merseyside

Daisy recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with a First Class honours in History and is now looking to develop her career in a challenging role within PR/Administration.

Highly motivated, ambitious and hardworking Daisy is keen to utilise the skills she has acquired from her studies and work experience. Her degree has equipped her with excellent written and verbal communication skills and her dissertation has strengthened her research skills, giving her the ability to synthesise complex ideas and arguments.

Whilst at University Daisy worked as a Sales Assistant for Crew Clothing. Working with customers greatly improved her communication skills and understanding of the need to be personable in order to reflect the high standards of the company. Both her academic and professional experience has given her significant administrative and customer service skills that would be of benefit to any potential company.

Daisy also volunteered at the Olympic Village to raise money for the charity KISS (which helps children in Uganda to access educational opportunities). Working as part of a multinational team to achieve a common goal for charity was a very positive experience and developed her ability to work confidently, both, in a group and individually. She was also part of the University cheerleading gymnastics first team where weekly training on top of studying and meeting deadlines allowed her to develop strong time management skills.
